How do I take care of baby bird eggs?

A silly mama bird had her babies in the light cover outside of my house, then she got her foot stuck in the glass and we found her there dead this morning. :( She had four little eggs. They're white with brown speckles on them. I have no idea what type of bird she is, or if that even matters with the care of the eggs. But my boyfriend and I would feel terrible just letting the eggs sit there, so we got the nest out and want to try and hatch them. How do we do it? And How should we care for them with the intention of releasing them once they're hatched??
